One of the most impressive games in the elementary school in Spain was rubber jumping. At recess, the girls used to play with rubber jumpers. When playing with 3 persons, the girls at either with end strech the rubber band with their legs, and the girl in the middle wraps and unwinds the rubber band around her legs in time to the song.
I have never played this game as it is a girl's game and I don't know how to play it, but I used to be observe with admiration that girls are so dexterous. I looked it up and found that the same game is played in Japan. Will they still play in the 21st century? Is it a child's game that has already become extinct like Menko(*1)?
*1: Menko is a japanese game of slapping a pasteboard card down on the ground in order to turn over that of one's opponent.
